About The Event

The 2024 Model Inventory of Roadway Elements (MIRE) Fundamental Data Elements (FDE) Peer Exchange is being held in-person in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and hosted by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Oklahoma Department of Transportation (DOT). The peer exchange will provide States an opportunity to collaborate and discuss the most critical issues facing their work toward meeting the MIRE FDE requirements.

Transportation to the Event

FHWA is offering invitational travel for up to two DOT safety and data personnel per State. FHWA’s contractor will be in touch to coordinate and support preparation of your travel arrangements.

Attendees can use ride share or local taxis to travel between the airport and the hotel. FHWA’s contractor will provide carpool to and from the meeting location.

Event Accommodations

FHWA’s contractor has reserved a block of rooms at the Aloft Oklahoma City Downtown-Bricktown for September 17th through the 19th. On the registration form, please indicate if you would like a room in the room block, and the contractor will make the arrangements for you. The hotel is located at 209 N Walnut Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.

Lodging must be booked by August 18th, 2024.

Additional hotel options are available nearby if you so choose, though State attendees can only be compensated for the Federal lodging per diem of $110/night.
